Open Access (OA) means research is made freely available, accessible and usable. OA is part of a global movement that promotes resources and information to be distributed openly. We at are working together with the Open Access movement side-by-side to achieve a world where the research community makes science transparent, open and accessible. We hope we can contribute to a healthy discussion around openness and, hopefully, that more people join us in promoting this vision. The open movement will not get very far unless we are joined by a critical mass of researchers, AI practitioners, corporate innovators, fellow startups, investors, advocates and knowledge seekers.

If you want to support Open Access, there are plenty of things you can do. Peter Suber, who is a renowned leader of the open access movement, has compiled a useful list of things you can do to promote the OA cause. Take a look at the list here.
